SALT LINE

$750.00

ART STORY

Every shoreline keeps a record of the water that left it.

SALT LINE reads like that record: bands of turquoise and deep ocean blue pressed against white salt and ochre gold, each layer settled in its own time, each edge softened where one tide gave way to the next. Open a geode and this is what waits inside. Here it unfolds across hand dyed fabric, colour pooling and crystallising into an abstract landscape of mineral and sea.

A framed textile art statement piece and one of a kind wall art, SALT LINE brings calm and depth to an organic modern living room, an upscale bedroom interior design, or an entryway anchor that stops people mid-step.

RESTORED FRAME

A plain, solid timber frame in a pale washed finish, the soft, sun-bleached tone of the shoreline. Clean lines, nothing fussy, so the colour of the textile leads. Restored by hand and in excellent condition, it holds the piece with a quiet, gallery-ready calm.

Both the frame and the fabric are the art. Like the human experience, SALT LINE is formed by accumulated layers and stories, which is why each piece is sold framed.

CAREFULLY FINISHED

Framed with acid-free buffered framing paper and archival backing behind glass, so the fibre is protected for the long term. Each piece carries an authenticity stamp and comes with a story card made to be displayed alongside the work.

RECLAIMED STORY

The fabric began as discarded natural fibre textiles, rescued before landfill and hand-dyeing in a local studio. Colour is given time to travel, settle and crystallise, which is why no two pieces will ever match. This is original fine art made slowly, with the marks of the process left in. The frame was rescued too, then restored by hand until it was ready for a gallery wall. Reclaimed fibre and reclaimed frame become one finished work, handcrafted from premium reclaimed textiles.

This artwork is available for local collection from Coolbellup, Western Australia. Interstate and international freight may be available by arrangement. Contact Us About Delivery Options.
