ATOLL
ART STORY
Inspired by the quiet beauty of a coastal landscape viewed from above, Atoll explores the meeting of shallow water, sandy sediment and vibrant island formations. Layers of soft blue, turquoise, seafoam and warm sandy tones spread across the fabric like shifting shorelines and submerged terrain, while deeper pools of colour form vivid atoll-like shapes within the composition.
The contrast between pale sedimentary areas and more vibrant turquoise sections creates depth and movement, drawing the eye across the imagined coastline. Organic variations in the dye soften the forms, bringing the colour, texture and tranquillity of a coastal landscape into a space.

RESTORED FRAME
Each frame is carefully restored in my Western Australian studio. Old nails and hardware are removed, the frame is cleaned and, where needed, lightly sanded and treated to care for the wood. New hanging hardware is fitted to ensure the finished piece is secure and ready to display. Original marks, imperfections and signs of age are retained where they form part of the frame’s character and history. This frame has been carefully sanded back and finished with Danish oil, bringing out the rich depth and natural character of the wood. The original mat board had faded and worn in areas, so it was carefully colour matched by hand and repainted to restore its original tone and finish.
CAREFULLY FINISHED
Each artwork is finished and protected using acid-free, buffered framing paper. The paper provides a protective backing while allowing the framed piece to breathe, creating a considered finish designed to protect the artwork over time.
RECLAIMED STORY
This piece brings together two reclaimed materials with a new purpose. The artwork is created from rescued premium fabric, hand-dyed and transformed into textile art, then housed in a hand-selected frame that has been given a second life. By combining existing materials rather than producing new ones, each piece diverts usable resources from landfill while creating something entirely original. Due to the organic nature of ice-dyeing and the sourcing of quality reclaimed frames, these statement pieces are fundamentally unique and cannot be replicated. Each piece represents a unique expression of renewal and possibility.
