ECHO LINES

$600.00

ART STORY

Echo Lines explores movement, rhythm and repetition through a landscape of geometric forms. Layers of turquoise, deep blue, soft aqua, ochre and warm earthy tones create repeating shapes across the fabric, with diamond-like formations and branching lines flowing into one another. The contrast between stronger blue formations and softer, weathered areas gives the piece a sense of depth and movement, while organic variations in the dye soften the geometry.

Beneath the pattern sits a hidden language, familiar yet impossible to quite decipher. Like something we almost understand, the repeated forms draw us in, asking us to look closer and listen for what cannot yet be spoken.

RESTORED FRAME

Each frame is carefully restored in my Western Australian studio. Old nails and hardware are removed, the frame is cleaned and, where needed, lightly sanded, re-oiled and stained to care for the wood. New hanging hardware is fitted to ensure the finished piece is secure and ready to display. Original marks, imperfections and signs of age are retained where they form part of the frame’s character and history.

CAREFULLY FINISHED

Each artwork is finished and protected using acid-free, buffered framing paper. The paper provides a protective backing while allowing the framed piece to breathe, creating a considered finish designed to protect the artwork over time.

RECLAIMED STORY

This piece brings together two reclaimed materials with a new purpose. The artwork is created from rescued premium fabric, hand-dyed and transformed into textile art, then housed in a hand-selected frame that has been given a second life. By combining existing materials rather than producing new ones, each piece diverts usable resources from landfill while creating something entirely original. Due to the organic nature of ice-dyeing and the sourcing of quality reclaimed frames, these statement pieces are fundamentally unique and cannot be replicated. Each piece represents a unique expression of renewal and possibility.

This artwork is available for local collection from Coolbellup, Western Australia. Interstate and international freight may be available by arrangement. Contact Us About Delivery Options.

In keeping with the Aloka & Sol ethos, artwork is displayed using licensed interior photography to provide scale and styling reference. The interiors shown are real photographs sourced through licensed providers that support the photographers and creators behind them.
