Created using Aloka & Sol's hand-dyeing process, the pigments have travelled organically through the fabric to form fractured lines and layered washes reminiscent of mineral surfaces and weathered stone. Fine resist lines move across the piece, creating subtle shifts between pale, clouded areas and deeper blue-grey markings.
